The AccuQuilt GO! Club is for everyone who owns or is thinking of buying a GO! cutter. We will feature different die(s) at each meeting to sharpen your skills and offer tips on cutting, piecing, applique, borders and binding. Everything to make the job easier! There will be demo's, tips, "Q & A" as well as show and tell. NEW for the next session..... Each session, 2 blocks will be chosen that you will make using your Accuquilt Qube. Whatever size you have is fine! You will have an awesome sampler when you are done. Check our new meeting dates for the next 6 months. Call to reserve your seat now! This club will fill fast. So, you're GO! Cutter is still in the box??? Let's dust it off, put it in the car and take a class. Pat Thornton, who is the organizer of our Accuquilt Club (they meet one Wednesday night a month from 6-8); will be teaching a class on Hunters Star using your Accuquilt Die. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE CLUB TO JOIN THIS CLASS!!! This is a two session class for $60. The first class will be cutting your fabric with the second being sewing the die cut pieces together. Our 6 session comprehensive beginner course is for the person who is self taught and would like to learn tips and tricks to make the craft easier. Course will begin on Tuesday, January 21 and continue on Tuesdays for 6 weeks Class minimum is 5 students. Material needed for class must be chosen prior to first meeting. A student "supply list" will be emailed upon paid registration.(and you always get 15% off when purchasing your class supplies at Ann's Fabrics) Instructor: Pat

Is the pile of quilt tops getting out of control? Are you writing more checks to the Long Arm Quilter than to the grocery store? Learn to do "Edge to Edge" quilting on your embroidery machine and get those tops done. If you have a working knowledge of your embroidery machine; you can use the edge to edge program to do our own quilting. It is a very easy method once you learn the basics. Diane Preble will be conducting this class on: Sunday, February 23, 2020 10 - 3 A supply list will be available upon registration. **** Please note that a magnetic hoop is highly recommended for this class **** Class Fee: $50. Embroidering a tiling scene features unbelievable shading and stunning artwork. Pat and Diane will be hosting this class to get you up and running on your new stitching journey. Just as the title says, you will be stitching one embroidered tile at a time until you complete the whole picture. It is your choice as to what tiling scene you choose to stitch. Space will be limited since you will need an entire table for hooping and to accommodate your embroidery machine. Don't wait, call soon. Faberge Cutwork Egg. Created by jeweler Peter Carl Faberge, the ornate Faberge eggs were Easter gifts commissioned for mothers and daughters in the Russian imperial family. While you may not have a royal title, you'll be stitching like a queen using techniques like cutwork and fringe embroidery to make this magnificent Easter decoration. We have added another open sew day to our calendar! You could stay at home and do all those chores or come in to our classroom and enjoy the company of new and old friends while sewing on your current project. That certainly sounds like much more fun! That's Pizza - Munchies - and sewing for you "newbies"! This 6 hour open classroom is the perfect time to work on those projects that have been haunting your sewing room. Need some help on that project? Fear Not! There will be someone here to help. We will supply the pizza and snacks. Reserve your space soon, you don't want to miss out on the raffle prizes!!!! Don't forget your show and tell to share with everyone. This is held the first Friday of the month from 6 PM to midnight.

Join us on Thursdays from 10-2 for open sew in our classroom. Bring your project and your sewing machine and visit with friends old and new! This session is open every Thursday with prior registration (to insure enough seating is available). Thursday's 10 - 2 $50. For a 2 month session.
